How it works

Therapy consultation

Before starting therapy, it’s important that we meet to discuss your situation, the difficulties you’re experiencing, and whether psychotherapy is right for you. This will be an opportunity for you to get a sense of what therapy would be like and answer any questions you may have.

The therapy consultation usually takes two sessions of 45 minutes, though you might feel you’d like another appointment before making a decision.

Therapy agreement

If you decide to start therapy, we will consider our agreement for working together, including frequency of sessions, timetable, fees, and policy around breaks.

Ongoing sessions

Once we have decided to work together, sessions can be once or twice weekly, which take place at the same time and day of the week.

I generally work face-to-face, though am open to incorporating some remote work where appropriate.

If you would like to learn more about therapy, or book an initial therapy consultation, please get in touch.
